Feld Motor Sports, in Partnership with the Utah Sports Commission, Generated More Than $149 Million Contribution to Utah Economy in 2025
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah | December 23, 2025 — Feld Motor Sports, the worldwide leader in producing and presenting specialized arena and stadium-based motorsports entertainment, in partnership with the Utah Sports Commission, generated an impressive $149+ million contribution to Utah’s economy in 2025, according to a study conducted by Netop Insights.
On July 4-5, 2025, Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT, hosted Monster Jam World Finals® XXIV, the biggest Monster Jam® event of the year. The event generated more than $90 million in economic impact for the region, with attendance from domestic fans in Hawaii and New Jersey and international fans worldwide. Of those who attended, 89% said they would not have visited Salt Lake City in July if not for the 2025 Monster Jam World Finals XXIV.
In May, Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City hosted the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Final, presented by the Utah Sports Commission, generating more than $58 million in economic impact for the region. Of those who attended, more than 94% said they would not have visited Salt Lake City in the spring without the Supercross event. The $58 million in economic impact is an increase of more than $2 million from 2024’s Supercross contribution, continuing a year-over-year growth trend dating back to 2022.
Supercross has a long-standing relationship with the Utah Sports Commission, celebrating 25 years of partnership this year. In 2001, the Utah Sports Commission held the inaugural Supercross event in Utah after the Commission was formed. The partnership extended to include Monster Jam in 2022.
“The state of Utah is truly one of the premier destinations for sports in America, thanks to the contributions and efforts of the Utah Sports Commission,” said Stephen Yaros, President of Feld Entertainment. “We are grateful for the longstanding partnership that spans more than two decades and has allowed us to bring Monster Jam and Supercross to millions of fans in the State of Sport.”
“Our 24-year relationship with Feld Motor Sports exemplifies the kind of partnerships that have been instrumental in our strategy to position and grow Utah as a global sports and entertainment destination,” said Jeff Robbins, president and CEO of the Utah Sports Commission. “From the inaugural Supercross in 2001 to hosting both the Monster Jam World Finals and Monster Energy AMA Supercross Finals now, these events continue to deliver significant economic impact and elevate Utah’s reputation as The State of Sport.”
Both Supercross and Monster Jam are slated to return to Utah in 2026. Rice-Eccles Stadium will once again host the final race of the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season on May 9th. Monster Jam World Finals XXV will also be held in The State of Sport over the 4th of July weekend.
