UTAH WILL BE THE HOST CITY TO OVER 13 NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Salt Lake City, UT (November 2, 2022) — Utah, known as the State of Sport, will host over 13 Olympic and Paralympic governing body international events during the 2022-23 winter season. Since its inception, the Utah Sports Commission has been tasked with building upon Utah’s Olympic and Paralympic legacy. Partnering with national governing bodies and world-class venues on competitions of this caliber contributes to the success of a future bid and shows that Utah is always “ready, willing, and able”.
“In 2018, Salt Lake City-Utah was named ‘America’s Choice’ to host a future Games,” said Jeff Robbins, President & CEO of the Utah Sports Commission. “Aside from being the home of two winter national governing bodies, U.S. Ski & Snowboard and US Speedskating, our state also constantly utilizes the infrastructure that was constructed for its Olympics.”
