Why volunteer?

The Utah Sports Commission views volunteers as its most valuable resource. Volunteers not only receive the personal satisfaction of helping Utah stage world-class events but also gain a unique perspective into major sporting events from behind the scenes. The fact that our state has so many experienced and willing volunteers is one reason why the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games were so successful and why so many events have been attracted to Utah since. In order to continue to attract top national and international sporting events to Utah, we need continued dedication and commitment of our talented volunteers like yourself.
