Adaptive Male Athlete of the Year
Zach Miller
Para Snowboarding, U.S. Ski & Snowboard
Born with cerebral palsy, Zach Miller fell in love with the freedom and anonymity of snowboarding. On the slopes, under layers of gear, Miller was able to hide his identity.
Meeting with Daniel Gale of Adaptive Action Sports at the age of 13 transformed the future Paralympian’s life. A para rider specializing in dual banked slalom, Miller quickly moved through international rankings—first named to the U.S. Para Snowboard Team in 2019-20.
The ESPY Award winner for Best Athlete with a Disability won three medals in three disciplines at last year’s World Championships in addition to the other four World Cup medals in 2023.
