Utes Football

The University of Utah Football team, coached by tenth year head coach Kyle Whittingham, finished the 2014 season ranked No.21. Their 9-4 overall record gave them an invitation to the Las Vegas Bowl, where they defeated Colorado State 45-10. They were 5-4 against Pac-12 teams, beating UCLA, USC and Stanford, a first in school history. They also toppled non-conference powerhouse Michigan on the road. The team was the 2014 NCAA FBS football statistical champion for pass sacks.
