Maggie Mendelson

Maggie Mendelson, a Fremont High Silverwolf, plays middle blocker on the volleyball team and forward-center position for the basketball team. She is a 2-sport commit to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

In August 2021, Maggie traveled with USA Basketball (USAB) to the U16 Americas Championship. Averaging 10 points and 6.7 rebounds, she led the team with 18 points in the Gold medal win over Costa Rica. Just a month later, Maggie had 48 kills, 16 blocks and 10 aces during the U18 World Championship tournament – Team USA Volleyball (USAV) walked away as Bronze medalists.

Despite missing 4 weeks for USAB and USAV commitments, Maggie was recognized as the 2021 6A Volleyball and Basketball All-State First-Team athlete. She is the Gatorade Utah Volleyball Player of the Year and 6A Basketball State Champion.
