Gina Magana

The U.S. Women’s Tackle National Team defeated Great Britain 42-14 in the gold medal game at the 2022 International Federation of American Football Women’s World Championship. And for the first time ever, two Utah Falconz were selected out of more than 250 athletes to be on that 45-player roster. One of them was Gina Magana, a standout running back and cornerback.

Magana followed up on her 2021 League MVP honors by making the 2022 All-Pro Team and leading the Falconz to the Pacific Conference crown and national title runner-up. She finished up the season with 582 rushing yards, 88 carries, and two touchdowns.
