Bob Garff

An incredible advocate of sport and Olympics, Robert “Bob” Garff was a founding board member of the Utah Sports Commission, chairman of the 2002 Salt Lake Organizing Committee, and owner of the Utah Blaze – professional arena football team (2006-2013).

Garff was chairman of Ken Garff Enterprises, Inc., a Salt Lake City-based corporation founded in 1932. His company has expanded to over 5,000 employees in 8 states, 63 dealerships and 92 franchises.

Over the years, Garff embraced and grew the Garff family legacy of opportunity, of being involved in and giving back to the community. He held multiple roles, including former Chairman of the Board for the Deseret Book Company and board member for organizations such as Intermountain Health. He also proudly supported his alma mater, the University of Utah, by helping fund a new executive education building for the David Eccles School of Business and the Ken Garff Performance Zone at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Bob loved his community.
